From Me to You

From Me to You is a self-directed risograph popup workshop inspired by my family and the phrase “Say it with flowers,” which adorned my dad’s florist shop wrapping paper. The project uses flower petals as symbols of community, where each petal represents something participants want more of in their community. Guests reflected on question cards designed in pairs—connected in both theme and shape—and contributed their answers alongside their chosen petals to create collaborative risograph prints. Hosting the workshop as a popup fostered spontaneous and organic participation, with memorable moments of connection as participants reflected on shared experiences. Over two days, I refined the process and captured insights on event planning, creating a meaningful space for community-building. My next step is to transform the collection of prints into something that continues to celebrate shared intentions and connection.
