Linking Collective Energy

Spring 2025

Linking Collective Energy examines the personal rhythms of movement through a series of mapped running routes taken in my hometown over the past year. They are looked at both individually and grouped over the geographical location. Where they are layered on top of each other or separated the data is meant to explore the idea of energy that is abstracted. Looking at the poster where the routes are layered, there are also suggested routes taken by other runners. It creates a larger network of connections. Looking at each route individually, it creates a visualization of human energy and mark making that is of something that is intangible.
